Something cracked in evangelicalism in 2016 and I felt like I straddled the chasm. I wrote my newest book Not From Around Here to process my own journey of faith through rural Arkansas, to suburban Chicagoland, and finally to urban Manhattan.
The book is made up mostly of stories from my own experience and observations from my travels around this fine country of ours. And while the book is finished, there is still a lot to say. This seven part email course walks through some of the fault lines of evangelicalism that are being exploited for political gain. I want to help you understand how the places we grow up shape the way we believe, and that there is a deeper identity we should claim and grow into as followers of Jesus.
"Perfect length emails and interesting content. I look forward to reading it each day."
